| Name: Rosalie Lillian Hale Age/Birthday: 101 // Jan. 29 1915 // Although appears to be 18 Family: She is the sister of Jasper Hale, married to Emmett Cullen and considers Edward and Alice to be like siblings. She looks to Carlisle and Esme as parents. She doesn't care to think back on her human life. However she had two younger brothers. Her mother was a housewife while her father worked at a bank. |

| She beautiful, she's vain, and she sure as hell knows she's great. Rosalie has always been really worried about looks, she likes it when people make a fuss over her, she likes being important. She likes being the center of attention. She also likes to have things her way. She isn't the type to just 'go with the flow' when it comes to changes she doesn't like. If the change is her idea she is completely okay with it. She's cold, but not as cold as she appears. She does have a good 'heart' somewhere in her she'd just rather keep that to herself and those that she is close to. Rosalie doesn't like people who seem 'more important' than her. She doesn't like anyone that could possibly ruin what she has. When Rosalie was changed she thought she was on top of the world until the last hours of her human life, she knew she beautiful, important, she was set to have a great life as the wealthy wife of a bankers son, but things changed. She's very determined and very few things can cause her to waver. Becoming a vampire was extremely wavering to her. Although a lot of her 'human dreams' never went away. She still loves weddings, of course her weddings are the important thing not others. Overtime she fell in love with cars becoming a very good mechanic and good at tinkering with any sort of car possible to make it faster, better, more powerful, louder. Whatever she can do it. When it comes to Emmett, Rosalie would do anything for him, she loves him. She wont let anything happen to him, she can't imagine going on without him. |

| Born in 1915 Rosalie was a beautiful young girl, she was breath taking and knew it. Her early days were really good she was always looked at, always seen as the most beautiful girl in town and Rosalie loved it. It was perfect for her. As a child she got whatever she wanted as her parents saw her as the perfect way to social climb. As an adorable little girl she learned the art of getting whatever she wanted. Although she did have two younger brothers neither of them were as important as Rosalie, just the way it should be of course. She learned everything she needed to learn how to social climb into a better marriage. It was what she wanted too. She wanted to be the beauty of the world, she was extremely vain and often felt sorry for her friends. Although deep down all she wanted to do was be loved. One day when she was 18 Rosalie's mother made her dress up to go deliver her father lunch. She didn't see the point in it after all she was just going to the bank. What she didn't know what that her mother was hoping for her to meet the bank owners soon Royce King II. He of course couldn't take his eyes off of her as she delivered the lunch. It wasn't long after that Royce sent her roses only after commenting that her eyes were like violets. As vain as Rosalie was, she loved it. The two become engaged to marry shortly after. The relationship had nothing to it, Rosalie didn't even know him very well. He was just the best looking rich guy. It was what she wanted. She wanted to have a wonderful wedding where she was the center of attention, she wanted to have beautiful children and be seen as the best thing in the world. Of course her world at that time was very small, simple. The Great Depression didn't even seem like such a big deal to her at the time. Not long before her wedding was to take place Rosalie went to visit a good friend of hers, Vera. Of course Vera was never as pretty or as great as Rosalie but she was a good friend to her. She always used to feel sorry for her less fortunate friend with the husband and the baby but no large beautiful wedding. The was until she finally noticed how much her friends husband really loved Vera. She felt a twinge of wonderment wishing briefly that she could have something like that... But she of course had Royce King. Rosalie didn't live far away from Vera and choose not to call her father to walk her home. She was lost in thought about her possible loveless relationship and soon to be loveless marriage when she heard a drunken voice. It took her a moment to realize who it was; it was her fiance and his friends. She'd never seen him drunk before, although come to think about it she really didn't know him that well at all. As her soon to be husband kept going on and on about how beautiful she was the group of them got completely out of hand and ended up raping her, beating her. Rosalie tried not to think about any of it, this was the man she was supposed to marry and his friends doing this to her. They were killing her slowly. After a while she was just left to die while the group of them just laughed about how Royce would have to find a new wife. She was devastated that her beauty might be gone, that she might die. Rosalie wasn't sure what was happening but she awake to the voices of the Cullens arguing. Carlisle had come across her as she was dying and didn't want to leave her to die. It would be a waste as he put it. All she knew was she was about to die and she was in terrible pain and a fire went through her; it was the most painful thing she'd ever felt. She was terrified and just wanted it to end. She followed part of the conversation of them arguing about it, but she couldn't follow it too well. The Cullens explained what had happened, explained that she was now a vampire. It felt a bit foreign to her, but she could feel it. Once she saw her reflection though she cheered up a little. Rosalie was always a stunning girl, but as a vampire she was simply amazing looking. She was vain, and looks were really important to her. Soon after being changed she couldn't help but want revenge against Royce and his friends for taking her life away from her. Rosalie never would have picked the life she now has for herself, but she sure as hell wasn't going to let Royce go on without paying for what he did. She dressed in a wedding dress for the simple purpose of the irony of it. She scared Royce and his friends. She found them in a windowless room with a vault-like door guarded by two men. Killing the guards with out thinking she entered the room. She killed every single one of his friends that had been there that night... Saving Royce for last. She was really glade she did save him for last. As he turned out to be terrible. Everything she had wanted and was so close to getting was just a front none of it was real. It was all Royce King II's fault. Rosalie was originally picked for Edward but she never felt anything for him. Sure he was great looking; sure it was really frustrating that he didn't want her... But in the end he did nothing for her. The two had nothing in common, nothing but a sibling love for each other. Two years later, although time didn't carry the same meaning as it had she was hunting in the woods where she found Emmett being attacked by a bear. Something about him just hit her, she wanted to be with him, she needed to be with him. He was nearly dead from the attack, but Rosalie could let him die like that. She picked him up in her arms carrying him across 100 miles. It was difficult as the smell of his blood was perhaps the best thing to her, but she did. Asking Carlisle to change him, she was realized when he agreed. Waiting for Emmett to change was one of the harder times as a vampire. She was nervous of his reaction, nervous of what he would say, do, think... She was was positive he'd be upset when she and Carlisle explained to him that he was a vampire... To her surprise he wasn't upset at all. He figured it couldn't be too bad if both Rosalie and Carlisle were vampires. The transition to the way of life that Carlisle set up was hard for Emmett. He couldn't just stick to animal blood at first, he slipped a good number of times trying human blood. It was hard for Rosalie to see him slip, but she loved him regardless of it. To her he was perfect, he was the love of her 'life' if what she had now could really be called a life. According the Carlisle when one becomes a vampire that a certain characteristic is intensified. Edward has mentioned once or twice that he believes hers to be tenacity. Rosalie doesn't think too much about it, she's beautiful after all. She went on living with the Cullens, keeping her last name. She quickly found a love in cars. She wasn't sure where it started; perhaps it was the beauty of them. She started to just play around with them becoming a really good mechanic. It became a a hobby of hers, and something she started to use to busy her time. As more joined them, Rosalie found a 'family' with Alice as a sister. She was content with her although at times found her a bit odd. She does however love her as a sister. When Alice found Jasper and joined the Cullen clan he became to be known to the rest of the world as her twin brother. She's very content to have Jasper as her twin brother. Over the years Rosalie has had a number of beautiful weddings with Emmett to in a small way to hold onto her dream to have a beautiful wedding. From time to time Emmett and Rosalie go off on their own to live as a newlywed couple. Rosalie enjoys the time she spends as a newlywed couple, it's always simply the attention she gets for it that she adores but after awhile it wears off and the couple goes back to live with Esme and Carlisle. When the family moved to Forks, Washington she attended school with all of the other 'children' in he family. Although she owns a red BMW M3 convertible she normally goes to school in Edward's Volvo. When Bella Swan came into the picture Rosalie was the least pleased out of everyone. She didn't want anything to do with her. She was extremely jealous of what Bella had, she was human... Rosalie would give anything to be human. She kept the most distance from Bella, never smiling towards her, never showing a hint of warmth towards her. She was actually happy when Edward decided that he, and they were better off without Bella. Although she wanted Edward to be happy, she didn't want her to mess up what they did have. She didn't want her to be apart of her although she had semi accepted it. She was in fact the one to tell Edward that Bella was dead. She didn't know for sure if Bella was, but she still told Edward. She didn't mean for the next events to take place, but it isn't something she can take back either. She honestly did feel terrible about it, she didn't mean for any of it. She later voted for Bella not to become a vampire, but because she wouldn't have picked it for herself. She wanted Bella to think about what she actually had... Not toss it all away to be a vampire. Rosalie never understood why she'd want to be one of them when she had so much to live for. |
